Brodie was born at St Vincent's Hospital in Pacific Palisades California.

He was Born on October 26th 1949.

His Parents are Bill and Dayl Greer.

His Brothers are Bill Junior Patrick, and Greg, and his sister is Treacy.

He was raised in West Los Angeles.

Brodie has always been sports minded, he set records in football and baseball when he attended Pacific Palisades, high school.

He attended Chapman’s College World Campus afloat, studying business administration on a round the world cruise.

Is favourite subject in school was literature, and he hated Math.

Brodie's best friend in the whole wide world was his dog Shorty, he found Shorty as a pup on his doorstep, and shortly after was given orders to move because his landlord wouldn’t allow him to have pets.

He was forced to buy his first home because of Shorty, Brodie figures his dog was worth in excess of $80,000 at that time as that is how much money he had to fork out to keep them housed.

In his college career Brodie played outstanding football for Santa Monica City and San

Jose State (after returning from his floating college), as an outstanding defensive back

for San Jose, he helped his team defeat Stanford in 1971, the only time Stanford defeated that year. Brodie tried out for the Chigaco Bears and made it through their final cut

Brodie decided on his acting career one afternoon while he was on the beach and Santa Monica, he looked up theatrical agents in the yellow pages and called one, and was on his way. Brodie was probably one of the few TV actors around who holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S) Degree in Business. In order to crack the industry Brodie started out in the entertainment world as a labourer in local 724.

His philosophy was to 'Inundate myself with its environment' and he spent a lot of time hanging out at the studios in town, meeting people behind the scenes, he was at Universal Studios quite a bit of the time.

His first 'break' was a Mustang commercial.

His Favourite actors are Clint Eastwood and Dustin Hoffman.

His Favourite Actresses are Jodie Foster and Meryl Streep.

Brodie's favourite sports include tennis, gold, basketball, volleyball and jogging.

When he was in college, Brodie used to lift weighs three hours a day everyday.

He landed four month role ion Days of our Lives when he was driving a girl to NBC to drop off her resume and the producer of the show saw him and liked him.

He loves salads and prepares them all the time, at his home, he also loves ice cream, especially vanilla.

His favourite beverage is Pepsi; he also enjoys the occasional Bud!

Chicken and Barbequed food are among his favourite main course.

Brodie used to drive a 78 Ford Pick Up Truck and a 70 Firebird.

He loved the movies Airplane and The Empire Strikes Back.

His Favourite countries to visit are Kenya and Malaysia.
