As Jon and Ponch are riding in to Central, Ponch is daydreaming about his new neighbour that has “sexy feet”. He is almost in an accident as the back door of the truck in front of him opens and starts to dump its load on the highway. They have to drive around a lot boxes but seems to prevent an accident and calls CalTran to come clean up the highway. .On the way into Central they see a converted bus that is now a camper and a young couple appear to be changing one of the tires. They are actually salvengers. They know they aren't suppose to be on the side of the road. After Jon and Ponch leave them, they find 2 cases of the cargo the truck Jon and Ponch had stopped. Since they are waiting for a court call, they are not going on active duty for the day so don’t have to attend briefing but Ponch has fun standing at the window to the door and making faces and motions to all the officers who are suppose to be listening to Getraer. Seems as though Ponch is not going to behave. He flirts with the secretary bring papers to Getraer, gets Jon to watch soap operas with him and is telling stories to the secretary pool and keeping them from working. Getraer has had enough and tells Jon and Ponch to leave but stay where he can reach them. Ponch says that they will be at his place. Jon asks why his place and Ponch says he wants to check out his neighbour more. After Jon and Ponch leave, Getraer gets a phone call from the manufacturer of the baby food the couple picked up. The baby food was on its way back to the laboratory to be checked out as it was believed to have botulism in the food. None of the officers on duty seem to remember anything about the baby food and then Getraer remembers the citation that Jon and Ponch had issued on their way to Central. He tries to reach them at Ponch’s trailer but the line is always busy. He finally gets on his motor and heads over to Ponch’s place and finds that the phone is off the hook. He orders Jon and Ponch back to the station. Ponch has come home and gotten into some shorts so he has to go back in and change clothes. While he is inside, his new neighbour comes over and introduces herself to Jon and gives him an iced tea. As Ponch is coming out of his trailer, she is walking away. Jon and Ponch get back to the station and they start to check out places these people who took the baby food might be staying. One area has to searched by motor as there had been a bad accident and traffic was badly backed up. Jon and Ponch find the couple and find out that the baby has eaten some of the contaminated food. He has to be rushed to the hospital. Ponch takes the lead and Jon carries the infant to an awaiting ambulance to be rushed to the hospital to have his stomach pumped. After they arrive at the hospital, they are on the phone with Getraer telling him that the baby will be fine and Getraer tells them that the personal phone calls have to stop. He says he has 3 from Ponch’s new neighbor, Melinda. Ponch is all smiles until he learns the calls weren't for him but were for Jon. WROTE BY ZAPIT
