2 men are steeling a police motorbike while the officers are having lunch.

At Central Jon and Ponch are doing some bike training when they are joined by Delaney who is going to be working with them that day, he is a touch young man, just out of motorschool and thinks that everyone is against him, he makes his own problems, and Ponch doesn't like his attitude and tries very hard to get on with him, but doesn't get very far.

We see lots of flashback where Jon and Ponch remember the good times in their life, we see how they met for the first time, we see Jon and Ponch dirt riding which tells us that it was Ponch who taught Jon to ride the bikes, and Ponch in a car with his friends which is being chased by Jon who is in a cruiser.

In more flashbacks we see 2 young girls accidentally driving into a swimming pool getting trapped, Jon and Ponch get them out.

Meanwhile back on patrol Delaney stopped to assist a woman who sends him on a wild chase only for her to steal his bike.

Grossie makes fun of Delaney as he has had his bike stolen. He's not happy, Ponch tries to talk to him but that fails aswell.

Later on patrol Delaney and Ponch spot the woman who stole the bike and give chase.

All the CHP officers join the chase but they all stay back and let Delaney make the arrest. At the end they all shake hands and then the music rolls.
