THE GRUDGE

Jon and Ponch spot a RV heading toward a tunnel that is under construction and know that it isn’t going to clear so they try to stop it. The boy driving it decides to try to out run them. The RV is full of boys returning from Mexico from a pledge trip. They are bring back a lot of marijuana. They arrest them because of the amount that they have. If it had been an ounce they would have just given them a ticket but they had much more.

When they go to court the boys plead guilty and the judge says that since the school has already suspended the 5 boys involved for the rest of the semester and the fraternity has been barred from campus for one year, she is going to give them a 6 months sentence and suspend it as it is all of their first violation.

Open house for Central will be that weekend and Jon is appointed chairman of the open house because the officer that was going to do it got called to Sacramento. Ponch is put in charge of the refreshments.

The boys at the fraternity decide that the CHP should pay for their getting their fraternity banned for a year. There first trick is to abandon a car on the expressway and lock it up. They leave a message for Ponch in the car. Jon gets a note later. They are all written in the form of Mother Goose nursery rhymes. The fraternity's next prank was to drive down the expressway and throw play money all over the highway. Cars are running into each other and stopping and out trying to get the money until they see it is play money. Boys get away but Jon and Ponch later see them in the same car and chase them and catch them.

The fraternity decides to donate brownies to the open house that are dusted with drugs. They deliver them while Jon and Ponch are busy with the drill team. Jon spots the delivery truck and connects all the clues and figures out exactly what the boys have done. They chase them down and arrest them.

Jon is commended by the Captain for the fine job he did as chairman of the open house and Ponch is given a bill for the lemonade dispenser that was broken while capturing the boys.
