40. Rally 'Round The Bank A cashpoint is being robbed by 2 men, they then drive of, and Baricza gives chase, later joined by Jon and Ponch, the robbers cause an accident at a wig shop (heads went flying)!!!!! Baricza stops at the accident and Jon and Ponch carry on the pursuit, along a golf course, they then loose them. The robbers then change the appearance of the car by removing the stickers on the side and replacing them with race rally sticker 6R, then they join back in the rally. Ponch later finds out that his mother is flying in, he is worried that he has no furniture in his new flat, and he quickly orders some, then Jon and Ponch set of to the airport to pick up Mrs Poncherello; at the airport Ponch parks on a no parking spot and gets a ticket. Meanwhile back on patrol Jon and Ponch are having lunch with 2 women when the robbers hit another cash point, Jon and Ponch are soon on their tail but once again they get away, and join back in the rally, Jon and Ponch then go to the rally check point to ask some questions. Later at central Getraer is angry that Jon and Ponch lost them again and starts to tell them off, but Mrs Poncherello is watching through the window, so it is a telling off with smiles all round. Back on the streets another robbery is taking place, they zoom past Jon and Ponch so they again go in pursuit, during the chase Jon falls from his bike, and again they loose them. Later to relax Ponch, Getraer, Grossie and
Mrs Poncherello all go line dancing, there Mrs Poncherello suggests
that to catch the robbers it would be a good idea to wait at the
next bank on the rally route. Back at central, Ponch is awarded a new name badge for a years service without an accident to his bike. It is time for Mrs Poncherello to leave and everyone is saying there goodbyes in the car park, then Mrs Poncherello gets in the cruiser for her ride to the airport and Ponch manages to ride his bike into that cruiser, damaging the bike and car, to the amusement of the others.
