Ponch and Bonnie are talking on the freeway shoulder when a vegetable lorry goes past and a bolt from he tyre flies of nearly hitting Ponch.
Meanwhile 3 children are wind skating in a car park, and out onto the road, into the path of the vegetable truck which crashes causing a big accident, when Ponch gets him out he tells him someone tried to kill him -cue music-

Jon and Ponch go to find the vegetable driver Tom, they find him at a health store, and there Jon and Ponch meet the 2 lady owners of the store.

At central Ponch is eating beansprout salad, instead of his usual peanut butter chocolate smoothie.

Later Ponch goes for a run and exercise stint with the 2 health girls.
The wind skating boys go wind skating again, the boy falls off and Ponch helps him up, he explains that there is no where for them to go skating, that is why they do it in the street.

Later Ponch and the woman jog up to Toms farm, his partner Cal runs of acting suspicious.

Later on the freeway the 2 woman from the health store are doing an escort for Tom on the freeway, but a Truck driven by Cal cuts them off, and Toms car is forced of the road, Tom is injured and so are the woman, one of them is trapped in the car which is halfway underneath a lorry carrying acid, the acid is seeping its way through the car onto the woman, and she is trapped by her steering wheel, with the help of the other CHP officers Ponch manages to get her out just before the acid works its way through to the car where she had been sitting.

Later Jon and Ponch take the boys wind skating and Jon and Ponch have a go at it themselves, but both fall off looking very silly.
