Jon and Ponch are on patrol of the boulder on pushbikes.

Milton Berle is still very worried that the big boulder rock will fall onto his home, the workman assure him that they will check it out.

* Funny moment * :the CHiPs theme comes on with Jon and Ponch on pushbikes:

A helicopter is called to try to lift of the boulder before it falls, but this fails as the boulder stays put, now the workmen want to blow it up.

Meanwhile we go over to the fund-raising, there are a whole lot of stars there, including George Peppard Hannibal Smith from the A-Team, Donna Mills, to name a few, and there is Harlan getting everyone ready to play the events.

Jon and Ponch get ready for the blast, but Jon's little friend Dane decides that he is going to go up to the boulder and write the name of his girlfriend Cheryl on it, he gets stuck and Jon rushes up to get him down.
After Jon gets Dane down and tells him off, he sees the motorcycle and side car used in the robberies, Jon and Ponch give chase on their Pushbikes, after a long chase they are caught.

Later everyone gathers to watch the big boulder blow up, but even that fails, and Milton Berle, is devastated to be told that they will have to take it to pieces bit by bit and that could take months.

The fund raising is very successful and to top it all there is a "Dip the Chip" where the CHP officers all sit on to be dipped in the water.

When Dane is painting Cheryl on the boulder, when Jon pulls him up the L at the end is not complete, but later when the boulder is being blown up it is complete.
