There is a band buskin in the high street while Ponch and Bobby enjoy to watch., the singer draws a crowd.

Meanwhile a land air parcel delivery van is being stolen close by, the driver alerts Ponch and they give chase. In the back of the van is some heavy equipment which the man pushes out onto the freeway causing a bad accident, and then also stopping Ponch and Bobby chasing them.

Later on patrol Ponch and Bobby see the bands car being towed away, they help them in return for the girls to come to central to do a e.fit of the man driving the stolen van, as the singer saw his face.

Later at a bar the band are playing and Ponch gets up on the stage and (tries his best) to sing with her.

On patrol later at traffic lights Kathy spots the man in the e.fit that the band had done, and calls for back up, Ponch and Bobby come and they all give chase, they catch him arrest him and interrogate him to get the information that they need to arrest the car thieves.

Meanwhile the car thieves are planning a great jewel rip off, they have a getaway planned, 2 mini motorcycles. Ponch and Bobby are on to them and give chase they catch them with the help of a parking ticket that they got earlier which leads Ponch to their door.

Meanwhile the singers are in danger, but Ponch and Bobby save them to.. all in a days work.

Back at central the officers are watching Grossie on the television, he is to answer the one million dollar question, an easy question, but he gets stuck and answers wrong.
