Hello again to everyone! I have just finished reading all the wonderful Christmas wishes that you posted and I just have to say "THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
followed by......"HOW DID I GET SO LUCKY?!?!?" You are all so very kind. Nana, Francesca & I did have a very nice Christmas and New Years. We actually got to spend it at home! The weather was pleasant and it was the first time in a few years that I was not booked on either side of the holiday days! What a treat that was! MOur older boys came by to visit but now that they're both 'college men' we are lower on the totem pole! But they enjoyed the holidays too! Santa came and Francesca was so happy that she almost cried and even sent the big guy a thank you note!
New Years Eve found us banging pots & pans at midnight onour front porch which was alot of fun for Francesca but then again, it was a blast for us too!
We finished the holidays with Francesca's 6th birthday (DO YOU BELIEVE IT she is 6 already!) and we threw her a birthday party where she invited all her kindergarten class!
Well, thank you all so much for taking the time to send us wishes. We appreciate your kindness & love and send it all right back to you!
For the New Year, I hope that nothing but good things shower upon everyone.
*****(Hey, by the way did you hear that there is going to be a feature length movie version of CHiPs?!?
I spoke with Ric (Rosner) and he's already hinted that he wants me in it. Perhaps as the father of Wilmer (Valderama). I think it might be interesting.....Maybe they should make a story line where I am his Dad and I as the original Ponch has to teach my son Wilmer how to carry on with the Ponch duties! What do you think?) I'd loveto hear your thoughts!

Hello everyone and how have you all been? Just a quick note to tell you all what a wonderful time Nan, Freancesca & I had during our trip in the UK in September for our participation in Britain's Worst Celebrity Driver.
We learned alot about driving over there and met so many terrific people.
Hopefully we'll be back there soon on another project! Hope to chat with you all in the UK/EU territories!

Erik was in the UK with his wife Nanette and daughter Francesca. Erik was competing for the title of Britains worse driver. The show started live in Scotland, and Ended at Lands End Cornwall.

Britain's Worst Celebrity Driver Live is the first reality show to take its contestants out of a controlled environment and onto the roads of Britain, where they will interact with the public as they travel from John O'Groats Scotland to Land's End Cornwall. Quentin Willson and Jenni Falconer present this show.

The six celebrities, who have all been nominated by a family member or famous friend for their atrocious abilities behind the wheel, will face daily driving challenges to test their skills as they try to negotiate their way from one place to the next.
In a live show, which comes from a different city each night, you can see highlights of their travels, and then you can phone in to vote for the most improved driver of the day.
The winner will then be released from the show at that night's location with a cash prize for their chosen charity. The remaining drivers will be left to battle it out for the unwelcome title of the worst celebrity motorist in the country!



The 6 celebrities taking to Britain's Highways will be:
Erik Estrada, along with wife Nanette.
Antonia Okonma Darlene of ITV’s ‘Bad Girls’,
Veteran ‘Blue Peter’ Presenter John Noakes
Radio One’s Joel Hogg,
Suzanne Shaw and
Brian Blessed

The First celeb to be voted out was sadly Erik, he had no problem with the driving, it was his road rage that needs to be worked on, but alas he was still at the other venues, and some of us UK Chippies actually got to meet him.

One of the best and funny parts of the show was Erik and his reliant car. This car was put up for auction and raised over £5,000. This also showing just how funny Erik Estrada really is.

The winner was Joel Hogg.

"CHiPs" is set to return as a big screen movie with Wilmer Valderrama taking over the lead role of Francis Poncherello. The role of Jon Baker has yet to be cast.

Cedric The Entertainer (host): Now I'd like to introduce two people who are together again for the first time in almost 10 years. I'm just glad I'm not seeing them in my review mirror! Please welcome Erik Estrada and Larry Wilcox from CHiPs!

Larry and Erik are introduced to much applause and walk out to the CHiPs theme song.
Larry: (grinning) It's good to see you Erik, que pasa?
Erik: (laughing) Oh mucho mucho! Good to see you man!
Larry: You know, I've been thinking about all those episodes we made and there's one thing I can't figure out.
Erik: You mean why would two CHP officers hang out at the roller disco?
(Laughter)
Larry: No, it's not that.
Erik: Well you mean how Danny Bonaduce starred as a bad guy 3 times and we never recognized him?
(Crowd laughs and applauds, shot of Danny Bonaduce in the crowd cracking up)
Larry: No it wasn't that either. What I want to know is, why were your uniforms tighter than mine?
(Crowd loves it, hoots,applause and laughter, Erik and Larry laugh, Erik looks embarrassed)
Erik: Uh..I think maybe they wanted Ponch to get all the girls?
Larry cracks up, puts arm around Erik: Yeah I think you're right-wait it wasn't those Ding Dongs was it?
Erik cracks up: Oh yeah ate a whole lotta junk food!
Larry laughs and with arm still around Erik gives him a squeeze: "It's good to see you!"
Erik (returning squeeze, also laughing) Good to see you too!

They looked genuinely delighted to be together again. Both in great great spirits! They presented an award to Mr. Ed and Wilbur and the horse was actually there! (not the original Mr. Ed of course!) Bet Larry got a kick out of that!

Anyway, Larry and Erik both looked great. Larry's still got that smile and those baby blue eyes, and he looks very fit. Erik does too. They seemed truly happy to be together!

Dear Erika, What a terrific surprise! You've done a great job on this web site. Who would have thought that when we started CHiPs 27 years! ago that there would still be interest these many years later? It's very gratifying. And I really appreciate your enthusiasm and support. If there is anything I can do for you please let me know. I would make one clarification though. In my bio it says that I threatened to quit in our first year if I had to ride the motorcycle. I have seen this on other sites on the internet and I don't know where it started. But it is not true. I admit I wasn't a very good rider but I certainly didn't give any ultimatums. If I had I am sure they would have shown me the door. Just thought I would clear that up. Anyway good luck with the site and I'll be sure to check it out every so often.
